Range & Status

Length 12mm, parasitic upon the Father Lasher Myoxocephalus scorpius and occasionally the Sea Scorpion Taurulus bubalis , where it is found on the ventral side of the head. Very occasionally found on these hosts at various scattered sites around the British Isles. Apparently a boreal species found as far north as Spitsbergen.
