Thecacera pennigera

Range & Status

This species feeds upon various bryozoans i.e. Bugula . It is amongst the rarest of British nudibranch species with most records coming from the south-west of England. It is also recorded from south-west and north-west Wales, up the west coasts of Ireland and Scotland as far north as Orkney. It is further distributed south to the Bay of Biscay and through to the Mediterranean Sea.
