Range & Status
A very rare southern species which occurs in gravelly sand from low on shore to deeper water, from the Mediterranean, Black Sea and Atlantic Isles to south-west England (Tresco and St. Martin' s). Shells have been found in SA16, SA18/VC1/VC2 and SA20/VC1, and living animals only in SA19/IOS.
