Range & Status
Usually found on Eelgrass Zostera marina at low water to 200m around the Atlantic
Islands and in the Mediterranean, northwards to southern Britain and Ireland. Probably decreasing nationally. In Britain, there have been living examples only from SA15, SA16, SA18/VC1/VC2 and SA19/IOS (shells have been found in SA20/VC1).
