Range & Status

The diet and habitat of this species are unknown. There are only three British records of this species, the first from Lundy at a depth of 12m, the second in Falmouth Bay in 20-25m and a recent record from Shetland. Elsewhere, it occurs south from the Atlantic coast of France to the Mediterranean area and Morocco.
