Range & Status
Better known as P. gallica , this species occurs on sunny sheltered or exposed granite coastal rocks, more rarely on decayed tufts of Thrift Armeria maritima . Locally abundant on the xeric-supralittoral zone on the Isles of Scilly but somewhat less common in west Cornwall. Elsewhere it is recorded from Portugal and Spain.
