Pronectria tenuispora - a lichenicolous fungi



Range & Status

A lichenicolous fungus found growing on the lichen Peltigera lactucifolia on china-clay spoil. Recently (2007) found to be abundant on Trelavour Downs near St. Dennis. First found in Scotland, the Trelavour Downs specimens represent the second British record. Very recently also found in Devon.
