Range & Status
Found on soil in woodland, associated with conifers. Known from very few collections from scattered sites in Scotland and a single collection from Surrey in 1945. Reported from Hampshire and West Sussex in recent years, but unsubstantiated with voucher material. Recently reported, with voucher material, from Bodmin Beacon and Cemetery in 2006/7, associated with Scots Pine Pinus sylvestris and other pine species.
