Agdistis meridionalis



Range & Status

Formerly Agdistis staticis , this species was listed by Ball (1986) as pRDB3, but this

species will possibly be down-graded to notable. In Britain, it is confined to the south-west and Wales, but it can be common where it occurs.

Regional Distribution

Recorded in Cornwall from Treyarnon and Cligga Head in VC1 and Trebarwith Strand in VC2.

Habitat & Ecology

Confined to cliffs and rocks by the sea where its foodplant Rock Sea Lavender Limonium spp. grows (Beirne, 1952).
