Range & Status
Attached to rocks and shells in the shade, often under overhangs, in 2-50m depth of water. From the Mediterranean northwards to the western coasts of Britain as far north as Mull. Very local but often abundant within a limited area. Previous records for Parerythropodium coralloides (Pallas) are now thought to be this species.
