Range & Status
Body length 9-14mm. Known from Sheerness, east Kent and Norfolk (Brinkhurst, 1982) and recorded in the Tees and Clyde estuaries. Recorded in Cornwall from the Fowey estuary (Baker, 1993). A brackish and marine infaunal species of mud sediment shores, eulittoral and sublittoral. It is also rarely found in freshwater habitats.
