Flora of Cornwall (1999)

The descriptive text, below the map, is from the Flora of Cornwall (1999), which was a Tetrad Atlas (the maps had 2km square dots or Tetrads). The map on this web page depicts the plant's distribution at the 1km square scale and shows the records made pre-2000 which were used in the 1999 Flora and those made since.

Myosotis laxa subsp. caespitosa - Tufted Forget-me-not

Tufted Forget-me-not is rather rare in Cornwall and has not been confirmed on the Isles of Scilly. It has been found so far on moors, in damp meadows, and by streams and ponds in mildly acid situations. Recent records include the Bostraze Moors (SW33V, 1981, R.J.Murphy), Menadarva (SW64A, 1994, C.N.French), Maenporth (SW72Z, 1998, I.J.Bennallick), Ventongimps Moor (SW75V, 1982, R.J.Murphy), Cubert (SW75Y, 1994, H.M.Meredith), Shire Horse Centre (SW97A, 1998, C.N.French), Bude Marsh (SS20C, 1998, M.Atkinson), Bridgerule (SS20R, 1994, BSBI), Par beach (SX05W, 1998, I.J.Bennallick), Werrington (SX38I, 1998, D.L.Brookman), Lewcombe (SX38R, 1998, D.Dupree), and Westcott Farm (SX39E, 1998, M.Atkinson).
