The map on this web page depicts the plant's distribution at the 1km square scale and shows the records made pre-2000 which were used in the 1999 Flora and those made since.

Diplotaxis muralis - Annual Wall-rocket



Found mainly along the north coast resort towns as a plant of pavements and sometimes of garden walls. It is particularly frequent around Newquay (SW86) and is recorded on the Isles of Scilly. Recent records include Copperhouse, Hayle (SW53U, 1998, R.J.Murphy), St. Ives (SW54A, 1997, C.N.French), Camborne (SW64K, 1998, C.N.French), Perranporth (SW75M, 1996, C.N.French), West Crantock (SW76V, 1997, H.M.Meredith), Newquay (SW86G, 1996, H.M.Meredith), Goss Moor (SW96K, 1996, I.J.Bennallick), Porthilly Cove (SW97H, 1994, R.J.Murphy), Bude Marsh (SS20C, 1998, M.Atkinson) and Torpoint (SX45H, 1997, M.Atkinson).
