Flora of Cornwall (1999)

The descriptive text, below the map, is from the Flora of Cornwall (1999), which was a Tetrad Atlas (the maps had 2km square dots or Tetrads). The map on this web page depicts the plant's distribution at the 1km square scale and shows the records made pre-2000 which were used in the 1999 Flora and those made since.

Rubus peninsulae

A regional endemic that is widespread but mainly a woodland species, hence the greater number of records from East Cornwall. It is recorded from such places as Luckett (SX37W, 1995, R.W.Gould), Cardinham (SX17A, 1993, R.W.Gould), the Glynn valley (SX16M, 1995, R.W.Gould), Cadsonbury (SX36N, 1993, R.W.Gould) and Kit Hill (SX37Q, 1993, R.W.Gould).
