Flora of Cornwall (1999)

The descriptive text, below the map, is from the Flora of Cornwall (1999), which was a Tetrad Atlas (the maps had 2km square dots or Tetrads). The map on this web page depicts the plant's distribution at the 1km square scale and shows the records made pre-2000 which were used in the 1999 Flora and those made since.

Rumex x mixtus - Rumex sanguineus x pulcher

The parents of Rumex x mixtus are R. pulcher and R. sanguineus and although they hardly ever grow together, the hybrid has been recorded from Boscawen Park, Truro (SW84G, 1951, J.E.Lousley), near Trefusis Point, Flushing (SW83B, 1982, A.C.Leslie), from a grassy bank behind Pendower beach (SW83Z, 1996, G.D.Kitchener), Porthluney Cove (SW94Q, 1997, G.D.Kitchener) and in a field near Castle Gotha Farm (SX04J, 1996, G.D.Kitchener).
