The map on this web page depicts the plant's distribution at the 1km square scale and shows the records made pre-2000 which were used in the 1999 Flora and those made since.

Salix alba - White Willow



White Willow is scattered throughout Cornwall and may sometimes be planted. It has been found at Penberth Lane (SW32W, 1980s, G.Halliday), Roskorwell (SW72W, 1980s, A.J.Byfield), Swanvale (SW73V, 1987, B.E.Jackson), St. Enodoc area (SW97I, 1991, R.W.David), Goss Moor (SW95P, 1996, I.J.Bennallick), Bodelva Pit (SX05M, 1998, M.Atkinson), Par Beach (SX05W, 1998, I.J.Bennallick), near Trevalga (SX09V, 1996, H.Watts) and Bude Marsh (SS20D, 1998, M.Atkinson).
