Flora of Cornwall (1999)

The descriptive text, below the map, is from the Flora of Cornwall (1999), which was a Tetrad Atlas (the maps had 2km square dots or Tetrads). The map on this web page depicts the plant's distribution at the 1km square scale and shows the records made pre-2000 which were used in the 1999 Flora and those made since.

Rumex x abortivus - Rumex obtusifolius x conglomeratus

One plant of Rumex x abortivus was discovered in a weedy ley near Mount in 1995 (SW75Y, D.T.Holyoak) with both parent species. A plant was subsequently reported from a streamside at Par, (SX05R, 1996, G.D.Kitchener) and several near a stream above the beach at Carlyon Bay (SX08L, 1996, G.D.Kitchener). The parents are R. conglomeratus and R. obtusifolius.
