Flora of Cornwall (1999)

The descriptive text, below the map, is from the Flora of Cornwall (1999), which was a Tetrad Atlas (the maps had 2km square dots or Tetrads). The map on this web page depicts the plant's distribution at the 1km square scale and shows the records made pre-2000 which were used in the 1999 Flora and those made since.

Senecio cineraria - Silver Ragwort

Silver Ragwort is a well established garden escape in a number of coastal towns such as St. Ives (SW54A, 1998, C.N.French) and Newquay (SW86B, 1995, H.M.Meredith) and occurs on the Garrison, St. Mary's (SV81V, 1995, D.T.Holyoak) and Tresco (SV81X, 1992, A.Underhill). It can be found growing from cliff faces and walls.
