Flora of Cornwall (1999)

The descriptive text, below the map, is from the Flora of Cornwall (1999), which was a Tetrad Atlas (the maps had 2km square dots or Tetrads). The map on this web page depicts the plant's distribution at the 1km square scale and shows the records made pre-2000 which were used in the 1999 Flora and those made since.

Prunus domestica subsp. domestica - Plum

i> Prunus domestica ssp. domestica is very rare in the wild. A tree, loaded with fruit, was found growing by a stream in a field near Ludgvan in 1995 (SW53B, C.N.French). Another was found at Coldrinnick in 1997 (SX07V, M.Atkinson) and a third was observed, loaded with fruit, near Looe in 1989 (SX25M, R.W.Gould).
