Flora of Cornwall (1999)

The descriptive text, below the map, is from the Flora of Cornwall (1999), which was a Tetrad Atlas (the maps had 2km square dots or Tetrads). The map on this web page depicts the plant's distribution at the 1km square scale and shows the records made pre-2000 which were used in the 1999 Flora and those made since.

Centunculus minimus - Chaffweed

Chaffweed would appear to have undergone a dramatic decline this century, but it could, however, be under-recorded as it is very inconspicuous. Recent records include near Higher Town, St. Martin's, Isles of Scilly (SV91I, 1989, R.J.Murphy), east of Hayle Kimbro Pool (SW61Y, 1998, D.T.Holyoak), Goss Moor (SW96K, 1996, I.J.Bennallick), Rosenannon Downs (SW96N, 1997, I.J.Bennallick), near Demelza (SW96S, 1998, I.J.Bennallick), Brynn Moor (SW96W, 1998, I.J.Bennallick), Criggan Moor (SX06A, 1990, R.J.Murphy) and Cabilla (SX16H, 1997, D.T.Holyoak).
