Flora of Cornwall (1999)

The descriptive text, below the map, is from the Flora of Cornwall (1999), which was a Tetrad Atlas (the maps had 2km square dots or Tetrads). The map on this web page depicts the plant's distribution at the 1km square scale and shows the records made pre-2000 which were used in the 1999 Flora and those made since.

Raphanus sativus - Garden Radish

A rare garden escape and casual introduction early in the 20th century at such places as Par Harbour (SX05R, 1909, A.O.Hume), Falmouth Docks (SW83B, 1901, F.H.Davey) and Tresco (SV81X, 1928, A.A.Dorrien-Smith). The most recent records are from a cabbage field by Bosorne Lane in St. Just (SW33Q, 1984, M.Cuddy) and on waste ground near Higher Treliever (SW73M, 1986, K.L.Spurgin).
