Flora of Cornwall (1999)

The descriptive text, below the map, is from the Flora of Cornwall (1999), which was a Tetrad Atlas (the maps had 2km square dots or Tetrads). The map on this web page depicts the plant's distribution at the 1km square scale and shows the records made pre-2000 which were used in the 1999 Flora and those made since.

Polemonium caeruleum - Jacob's-ladder

Jacob's-ladder is a Red Data Book species which in Cornwall is a casual and usually a garden escape. The few recent records are from the Poldice valley (SW74G, 1989, C.Massee), a footpath in Callestick (SW75Q, 1990, C.N.French), near Blackacre (SW96F, 1994, I.J.Bennallick) and on Hingston Down (SX47A, 1987, R.J.Murphy).
