The map on this web page depicts the plant's distribution at the 1km square scale and shows the records made pre-2000 which were used in the 1999 Flora and those made since.

Kickxia spuria - Round-leaved Fluellen



An increasingly rare arable weed which can still be found in fields around West Pentire and Newquay (SW76, SW86) and around the Camel (SW97). Recent records include Long Rock (SW43V, 1981, B.M.Sturdy), a barley field near Porthtowan (SW64Z, 1993, D.T.Holyoak), West Pentire (SW76Q, 1998, H.M.Meredith), an arable field at Voskelly Farm (SW83M, 1987, R.E.Lees), an arable field near Trelonk (SW84V, 1987, R.J.Murphy), an arable field at Trevose Head (SW87M, 1991, A.J.Wigley), an arable field at Trevone (SW87X, 1989, D.I.Cockerill), the Polzeath area (SW97J, 1991, R.W.David) and an arable field near Helebridge (SS20B, 1987, T.J.Dingle).
