X festulolium loliaceum - Hybrid Fescue



The parents of this hybrid grass are Festuca pratensis and Lolium perenne . It was reported from Egloshayle Marsh in 1931 (SX07A) and near Launceston in 1971 (SX38, 1971, E.Forbes). More recent records include St. Columb Minor (SW86G, 1983, K.L.Spurgin), near Killigrew Farm (SW85L, 1995, C.N.French) and Higher Town on the Isles of Scilly (SV91H, 1995, D.T.Holyoak).
