Flora of Cornwall (1999)

The descriptive text, below the map, is from the Flora of Cornwall (1999), which was a Tetrad Atlas (the maps had 2km square dots or Tetrads). The map on this web page depicts the plant's distribution at the 1km square scale and shows the records made pre-2000 which were used in the 1999 Flora and those made since.

Luma apiculata - Chilean Myrtle

Chilean Myrtle is an established garden escape in estate woodlands such as Trelowarren (SW72G, 1982, L.J.Margetts) and Tresco Abbey woods (SV81X, 1993, A.Underhill). It is also self-sown in churchyards such as Gulval (SW43V, 1981, J.R.Palmer), and Swanpool cemetery (SW83A, 1994, D.T.Holyoak), as well as various other places.
