Flora of Cornwall (1999)

The descriptive text, below the map, is from the Flora of Cornwall (1999), which was a Tetrad Atlas (the maps had 2km square dots or Tetrads). The map on this web page depicts the plant's distribution at the 1km square scale and shows the records made pre-2000 which were used in the 1999 Flora and those made since.

Hydrangea macrophylla - Garden Hydrangea

Most of the recorded instances of Hydrangea are for planted specimens or relics of planting. Those that are not include plants on mine waste at Wheal Fortune, near Breage (SW62J, 1996, C.N.French), on a slumped cliff slope at Plaidy, near Looe (SX25R, 1995, M.Atkinson) and rooted cuttings under willow at Par Marsh (SX05W, 1982, L.J.Margetts).
