Flora of Cornwall (1999)

The descriptive text, below the map, is from the Flora of Cornwall (1999), which was a Tetrad Atlas (the maps had 2km square dots or Tetrads). The map on this web page depicts the plant's distribution at the 1km square scale and shows the records made pre-2000 which were used in the 1999 Flora and those made since.

Taraxacum duplidentifrons

In Margetts & David (1981) and Margetts & Spurgin (1991) this species was listed as T. raunkieri Winst. It has proved to be widespread on the Lizard growing in sheltered lanes (Margetts, 1988). Other records include the old railway at Grogley (SX06E, 1982, L.J.Margetts), coastal cliffs at Willapark, Bossiney (SX08U, 1981, L.J.Margetts), near Siblyback Reservoir (SX27F, 1979, L.J.Margetts) and Crooklets, near Bude (SS20D, 1979, L.J.Margetts).
