Salix x sericans - Broad-leaved Osier



i> Salix x sericans is the hybrid between S. caprea and S. viminalis . Some of these few records may be relics of cultivation. It has been found between Hallworthy and Tredwen (SX18Y, 1926, J.E.Little), at Porthleven (SW62H, 1960s, H.B.Sargeant), Penberth Lane (SW32W, 1980s, G.Halliday) and near Gwavas (SW71B, 1980s, A.J.Byfield).
