Flora of Cornwall (1999)

The descriptive text, below the map, is from the Flora of Cornwall (1999), which was a Tetrad Atlas (the maps had 2km square dots or Tetrads). The map on this web page depicts the plant's distribution at the 1km square scale and shows the records made pre-2000 which were used in the 1999 Flora and those made since.

Schedonorus pratensis - Meadow Fescue

Meadow Fescue is rare in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, but has been found at scattered locations in meadows, grassland, and sometimes on road verges. It has been recorded in the vicinity of Gwithian Green (SW54V), near Godrevy bridge (SW54W), on Loggans Moor near Hayle (SW53U), at Redlake Reserve near Lostwithiel (SX15J), Tutwell (SX37Y) and on the Rame peninsula (SX44J).
