Flora of Cornwall (1999)

The descriptive text, below the map, is from the Flora of Cornwall (1999), which was a Tetrad Atlas (the maps had 2km square dots or Tetrads). The map on this web page depicts the plant's distribution at the 1km square scale and shows the records made pre-2000 which were used in the 1999 Flora and those made since.

Melilotus albus - White Melilot

White Melilot has appeared in recent years at different places along the main road connecting Long Rock with Hayle, although it is only casual at any particular spot. There are a few other scattered, mainly roadside, records for it during the 1980s, such as at Catchfrench (SX35E, 1992, S.C.Madge) and on the Camborne-Redruth bypass (SW64W, 1990, D.M.Lewis).
