Flora of Cornwall (1999)

The descriptive text, below the map, is from the Flora of Cornwall (1999), which was a Tetrad Atlas (the maps had 2km square dots or Tetrads). The map on this web page depicts the plant's distribution at the 1km square scale and shows the records made pre-2000 which were used in the 1999 Flora and those made since.

Epilobium x confusilobum - Epilobium montanum x brunnescens

Epilobium x confusilobum is the hybrid between E. brunnescens and E. montanum. It was found new to science at Clicker Quarry near Liskeard (SX26V, 1995, M.Atkinson) and has since been seen at a quarry near Indian Queens (SW95J, 1997, G.D.Kitchener), on china clay waste at Wheal Martyn Museum (SX05C, 1997, G.D.Kitchener) and in a quarry near Doublebois (SX16X, 1997, G.D.Kitchener), see Kitchener & McKean (1998).
