Flora of Cornwall (1999)

The descriptive text, below the map, is from the Flora of Cornwall (1999), which was a Tetrad Atlas (the maps had 2km square dots or Tetrads). The map on this web page depicts the plant's distribution at the 1km square scale and shows the records made pre-2000 which were used in the 1999 Flora and those made since.

Lepidium sativum - Garden Cress

Garden Cress is a rare casual that has been reported mostly from Council waste tips, such as at Bissoe (SW74K, before 1980, L.J.Margetts) and St. Newlyn East (SW85H, 1980s, L.J.Margetts), from the bases of walls, as at Hannafore (SX25L, 1981, P.Madge), and from gardens such as at Tregeseal , near St. Just (SW33Q, 1982, M.Cuddy) and Reskadinnick, near Camborne (SW64F, 1981, R.J.Murphy).
