Flora of Cornwall (1999)

The descriptive text, below the map, is from the Flora of Cornwall (1999), which was a Tetrad Atlas (the maps had 2km square dots or Tetrads). The map on this web page depicts the plant's distribution at the 1km square scale and shows the records made pre-2000 which were used in the 1999 Flora and those made since.

Taraxacum fulviforme

Cliff-tops, sand dunes and hedgebanks are habitats for this dandelion. It has been seen on dunes at Godrevy (SW54W, 1973, L.J.Margetts), on blown sand at Gunwalloe (SW62Q, 1981, L.J.Margetts), at Penhale Sands (SW75S, 1976, L.J.Margetts), on a hedgebank at Bolenowe, Troon (SW63T, 1973, L.J.Margetts) and at Carn Gloose near St. Just (SW33K, 1975, L.J.Margetts). Most material formerly listed as T. simile Raunk. is referrable to T. fulviforme .
