Flora of Cornwall (1999)

The descriptive text, below the map, is from the Flora of Cornwall (1999), which was a Tetrad Atlas (the maps had 2km square dots or Tetrads). The map on this web page depicts the plant's distribution at the 1km square scale and shows the records made pre-2000 which were used in the 1999 Flora and those made since.

Calystegia pulchra - Hairy Bindweed

A rare introduction, Hairy Bindweed has been recorded in roadside hedges and on waste ground at scattered localities. Recent sites include near the airfield at Nancekuke (SW64Y, 1984, A.J.Byfield), at Trevithian near Lanarth (SW72Q, 1980, R.J.Murphy), in scrub at Cocks, near Perranporth (SW75R, 1980, L.J.Margetts), and at Lower Downgate, near Callington (SX37R, 1997, M.Atkinson).
