Flora of Cornwall (1999)

The descriptive text, below the map, is from the Flora of Cornwall (1999), which was a Tetrad Atlas (the maps had 2km square dots or Tetrads). The map on this web page depicts the plant's distribution at the 1km square scale and shows the records made pre-2000 which were used in the 1999 Flora and those made since.

Lonicera japonica - Japanese Honeysuckle

Large patches of Japanese Honeysuckle can sometimes be found on waste ground, especially mine waste, such as was seen near the Carn Gloose Stack at Ballowall, St. Just, in 1991(SW33K, C.N.French). It has also been recorded from dunes, quarries, the harbour in Newlyn (SW42U, 1992, C.N.French) and Hemmick Beach (SW94V, 1997, M.Tempest).
