Flora of Cornwall (1999)

The descriptive text, below the map, is from the Flora of Cornwall (1999), which was a Tetrad Atlas (the maps had 2km square dots or Tetrads). The map on this web page depicts the plant's distribution at the 1km square scale and shows the records made pre-2000 which were used in the 1999 Flora and those made since.

Epilobium x vicinum - Epilobium obscurum x ciliatum

The few records for this hybrid have all been made since 1981. Most recently it has been found on waste ground at St. Dennis Junction (SW95J, 1997, G.D.Kitchener), mine waste near Mount Hawke (SW74D, 1995, D.T.Holyoak), in Penhill Quarry (SS20P, 1998, M.Atkinson), Carnsmerry (SX05D, 1997, G.D.Kitchener) and in a conifer plantation in the Glynn valley (SX16S, 1997, G.D.Kitchener).
