Flora of Cornwall (1999)

The descriptive text, below the map, is from the Flora of Cornwall (1999), which was a Tetrad Atlas (the maps had 2km square dots or Tetrads). The map on this web page depicts the plant's distribution at the 1km square scale and shows the records made pre-2000 which were used in the 1999 Flora and those made since.

Taraxacum cordatum

i> Taraxacum cordatum is largely coastal in occurrence but has also been found on roadsides inland. It has been recorded from Copperhouse, in Hayle (SW53T, 1974, L.J.Margetts), Marazion (SW53A, 1982, L.J.Margetts), Tresaddern on the Lizard (SW71D, 1982, L.J.Margetts), and on sand dunes at Perranporth (SW75M, 1982, L.J.Margetts). It is also mapped for SX08 in Dudman & Richards (1997), but the record for Par beach (SX05W) is no longer accepted.
