Flora of Cornwall (1999)

The descriptive text, below the map, is from the Flora of Cornwall (1999), which was a Tetrad Atlas (the maps had 2km square dots or Tetrads). The map on this web page depicts the plant's distribution at the 1km square scale and shows the records made pre-2000 which were used in the 1999 Flora and those made since.

Rubus rossensis

This regional endemic was found in 1993 on a path by the Lower Tamar Lake reservoir (SS21V, W.H.Tucker). Since then it has been recorded in a number of places in East Cornwall, as on Kit Hill (SX37Q, 1995, R.W.Gould), at Crowdy (SX18M, 1995, R.W.Gould) and on Racecourse Downs, Bodmin Moor (SX06Z, 1996, R.W.Gould).
