Flora of Cornwall (1999)

The descriptive text, below the map, is from the Flora of Cornwall (1999), which was a Tetrad Atlas (the maps had 2km square dots or Tetrads). The map on this web page depicts the plant's distribution at the 1km square scale and shows the records made pre-2000 which were used in the 1999 Flora and those made since.

Bromus commutatus - Meadow Brome

Meadow Brome is uncommon in Cornwall and recent records are few. These include two sites in the Lizard area: a roadside near Garras (SW62X, 1994, D.T.Holyoak) and Trewillis Farm (SW71T, 1980s, R.W.David). The other localities are on the north coast; near Mount field, Penhale Sands (SW75Y), near Gwithian (SW54V) and north east of Phillack (SW53U) - all recorded in 1994 by D.T.Holyoak.
