Flora of Cornwall (1999)

The descriptive text, below the map, is from the Flora of Cornwall (1999), which was a Tetrad Atlas (the maps had 2km square dots or Tetrads). The map on this web page depicts the plant's distribution at the 1km square scale and shows the records made pre-2000 which were used in the 1999 Flora and those made since.

Oenothera glazioviana x biennis x cambrica - Triple-hybrid Evening-primrose

This triple hybrid was discovered in 1996 on a sandy slope near the car park at Bude (SS20D, J.C.Bowra). Two more sites have now been found, both confirmed by J.C.Bowra; in a disused quarry at Doublebois (SX16X, 1997, R.J.Murphy) and on a Council tip at St. Mewan (SX04E, 1997, I.J.Bennallick).
