Flora of Cornwall (1999)

The descriptive text, below the map, is from the Flora of Cornwall (1999), which was a Tetrad Atlas (the maps had 2km square dots or Tetrads). The map on this web page depicts the plant's distribution at the 1km square scale and shows the records made pre-2000 which were used in the 1999 Flora and those made since.

Elytrigia x obtusiuscula - Elytrigia juncea x atherica

i> Elytrigia x obtusiuscula is the hybrid between E. atherica and E. juncea . There are only two confirmed records for this hybrid in Cornwall. These are at the north end of Daymer Bay (SW97I, 1979, R.W.David) and on Loe Bar, near Helston (SW62M, 1986, A.Spalding). The latter plants were confirmed by P.J.O.Trist (Spalding, 1994).
