Flora of Cornwall (1999)

The descriptive text, below the map, is from the Flora of Cornwall (1999), which was a Tetrad Atlas (the maps had 2km square dots or Tetrads). The map on this web page depicts the plant's distribution at the 1km square scale and shows the records made pre-2000 which were used in the 1999 Flora and those made since.

Erigeron acris - Blue Fleabane

Blue Fleabane can readily be found in the dunes at Penhale (SW75T), particularly in the area protected by the MOD. It may still occur in the dunes at Phillack (SW53U) but has not been recorded recently. The only other recent records have come from the Bissoe valley (SW74Q, 1997, P.A.Gainey) and Mother Ivey's Bay (SW87T, 1980s, E.Griffiths).
