Flora of Cornwall (1999)

The descriptive text, below the map, is from the Flora of Cornwall (1999), which was a Tetrad Atlas (the maps had 2km square dots or Tetrads). The map on this web page depicts the plant's distribution at the 1km square scale and shows the records made pre-2000 which were used in the 1999 Flora and those made since.

Chaenorhinum minus - Small Toadflax

Small Toadflax is found along railways, on waste ground and sometimes in arable fields. It is very rare except in mid-Cornwall, where it is associated with the railway and adjacent waste ground, such as at St. Dennis Junction on Goss Moor (SW95N, 1996, I.J.Bennallick). It can also be found at such places as Quintrell Downs station (SW86K, 1997, H.M.Meredith), Tredinnick (SW97R, 1997, I.J.Bennallick), Boscarne Halt (SX06N, 1997, M.Atkinson), Delabole Quarry (SX08R, 1996, R.J.Murphy), Kilkhampton Common (SS21K, 1997, M.Atkinson), Coombe, Liskeard (SX26G, 1997, M.Atkinson), but is absent from the Isles of Scilly.
