Flora of Cornwall (1999)

The descriptive text, below the map, is from the Flora of Cornwall (1999), which was a Tetrad Atlas (the maps had 2km square dots or Tetrads). The map on this web page depicts the plant's distribution at the 1km square scale and shows the records made pre-2000 which were used in the 1999 Flora and those made since.

Callitriche obtusangula - Blunt-fruited Water-starwort

Blunt-fruited Water-starwort has a very scattered, seemingly coastal distribution, reflecting its frequency in slow-flowing, brackish, streams, as at Gunwalloe (SW62Q), Constantine Bay (SW87M), in the streams near Holywell (SW75U), and in the Amble Marshes (SW97X). Recent finds, however, have shown that it will also grow in more inland pools as at Penjerrick (SW73V) and Tregoose Mill (SW86V). It is found on the Isles of Scilly.
