Anthopleura thallia - Glaucous Pimplet



Range & Status

In pools and crevices on rocky shores exposed to strong wave action. A difficult species to find, it rarely remains expanded for long after the tide has ebbed, also it often buries itself below sand or gravel. It occurs on rocky shores between MTL to LWST. A very local species on the extreme south-west coasts of England and Wales.
