Pyrenocollema subarenisedum - a lichen



Range & Status

Found on soil in dune slacks and is known elsewhere from north-west England (Lancashire) and western Scotland. The only sites for this endemic species in south-west England are on the soft, unprotected sea cliffs at Widemouth Bay in north-east Cornwall and at Buck' s Mill in north Devon. Recently (2007) recorded as occasional on china-clay spoil on Trevalour Down near St. Austell.
