Range & Status

Found through most of Europe. In Britain, confined to east Dorset and west Hampshire (Waring & Townsend, 2003).

Regional Distribution

The only Cornish record was at light at Hatt, near Saltash in 2003.

Habitat & Ecology

Feeds on Willows Salix spp. on open heathland.

Threats

None, as unlikely to be breeding.

Conservation

A UK BAP priority species.
