Cryptococcus aquaticus



Range & Status

Isolated from scum and foam from lake water, also dead stems of Horsetail Equisetum spp. and leaves in streams. On dead Alder Alnus glutinosa in a stream in Draynes Wood, Bodmin Moor (1982). Only known from four other British sites in Yorkshire, the South Downs, Cumberland and Wester Ross.
