Cataphellia brodricii - Latticed Corklet



Range & Status

Found amongst algal holdfasts on the lower shore in the Laminaria zone. Also found in the sub-littoral zone down to 20m. This species is only known from the coasts of Devon, Cornwall and southern Ireland. Here it may be found particularly in estuaries such as the Exe, Fowey and Fal. It is also found in more exposed locations in the Isles of Scilly and southern Ireland.
