Calma glaucoides



Range & Status

Found from the lower shore down to 40m where it feeds almost exclusively upon the eggs of certain teleost fish such as the various clingfishes, sea snails and gobies. British records are sparse and are all from the west coast of Britain as far as the Isle of Man, and western Ireland. Elsewhere it has occasionally been recorded from Spain, the Mediterranean and Norway.
